As Wendy promised, here are her recipes from last Monday’s meeting. Thanks, Wendy, they were both delicious!
1 pkg fresh cranberries
1 – 8 oz can crushed pineapple
2/3 c sugar
1/2 green pepper
1/4 c fresh cilantro
2 Tbsp chopped onion
1/2 jalapeno seeded and chopped more if desired
1/4 tsp salt
Chop the green pepper, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno finely, then chop the cranberries in food processor. Add other ingredients, mix and chill for at least 2 hrs.
1 – 15 oz can pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
1 spice cake mix
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Mix all together well, pour into paper muffin cups and bake.
The theme for our October meetings was Thanksgiving, and once again we were too busy wielding our hooks to get any pictures of the cute turkeys and other items we were making!
We also discussed the upcoming election of officers that will happen at the November meeting, and the Christmas Party scheduled for December 21.
See you at the November meeting!
See what lovely items our members and guests have been making! I especially want to point out the bue and white Jacquard Crochet bag our guest Shawna is making – WOW!!
Once again our members did a wonderful job of providing some beautiful door prizes for our drawings!! Thank you, everyone who contributed.
Hi Guild members!
I have written up a pattern for a baby cap and am looking for a few people to test it for me. I think I’ve got it, but I know exactly what I mean with each of the rounds I’ve written, but I’m not sure anyone else can understand it! If you are interested in testing the pattern, will you please send me an e-mail at corih2obug(at)yahoo(dot)com? I will send you a PDF of the pattern. Thanks!
