Crochet in Public Reminder May 2016

This was our last Crochet in Public outing at Barnes and Noble.

Everyone is invited to our May Crochet In Public (CIP) Outing

When: Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:30

Where: Spangles at 415 S. West St.

Dinner: 5:30

Please wear your name tags (paper ones will be available for those who forget or haven’t made a name tag yet)

Bring a crochet project to work on; either a charity project or whatever you are working on.

Try to bring a completed project to display.

If you are in the area and you like to crochet, please feel free to join us.

We hope to see everyone there!

• Charity Brochure will be available for purchase for $7. If you signed up to get one, please bring your money to pay for it.
• May Monthly Challenge (Yellow)
• Crochet in Public for May will be at Spangles on West Street near Kellogg

Show ‘n Share

Bring any projects that you have completed or working on and share with everyone.

Program (Tulip Stitch)

Medium Worsted Weight Yarn size 4 or any size of yarn that you want to use. You may want to bring up to 5 different colors, or as little as 3.

Crochet Hook size to match the yarn you bring along.

Door Prizes

The guild is always accepting door prizes, so if you have something that is crochet related in your stash of goodies and no longer need it and would like to donate to our door prizes, please feel free to do so. Donations are strictly voluntary. And remember they should be something that you would like to receive yourself.

KS My Stitch April 2016 Meeting Photos

April’s meeting went very well. We loved seeing all the chapter challenges completed. April’s challenge was to make a flower. Some of the guild members outdid themselves and made more than one. The program was on how to make a broomstick lace stitch. I think everyone who wanted to try the stitch enjoyed learning something new. 😉 We are looking forward to next weeks monthly meeting where our challenge is to make something with yellow yarn. Of course we are still working on the Purple and Red Baby Hats, Bridget’s Cradles, and Crocheted IV covers for the hospitals. We hope you all are inspired by the things that we make.
