Crochet in Public Reminder (tonight)

Bring whatever is in your project bag or Charity projects (IV Covers).
Bring a completed project to display.
Don’t forget to bring/invite a friend (they do not have to be a member of the Guild to come to the CIPs)!!!!

Time: 6:00 pm —8:00 pm
Where: Barnes & Noble (North Rock Road in Bradley Fair)
Dinner: 5:00 – 6:00 pm (Jason’s Deli in Bradley Fair)
Wear your homemade name badges or paper ones will be available.

New and Old Business

• Purple and Red Baby Hats (Hat Patterns), IV Covers, and Bridget’s Cradles.
• Monthly Challenge (Something for the home is due this month).
• Crochet in Public for February is February 28th and will be at Barnes & Noble at 1920 N. Rock Road (New Time) 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Dinner before at Jason’s Deli at Bradley Fair
• Hooking on the Highway sign up sheet will be available. This month we will be traveling to Salina on Saturday, February 25th. We will visit the yarn shop called Yarns Sold and Told, have lunch in Salina, then we will join Sarah Ash (jewelry artist of Dirt Road Daisy) in McPherson at the Opera House, then we will travel to her little studio on her family farm near Assayria, Kansas to see where she creates all her magnificent jewelry. Cost will be $5 per person if you are along for the ride (paid directly to your driver). All other expenses are up to each individual person (lunch, yarn, jewelry, etc.) Please be ready to sign up Monday, February 20th to go on our mini adventure.

Show ‘n Share

Bring any projects that you have completed or working on and share with everyone.

Program Wiggly Crochet

We suggest a worsted weight cotton or acrylic yarn of any color and hook size to go with worsted weight yarn.

Tapestry needle to weave ends in and a Small pair of scissors.

Door Prizes

The guild is always accepting door prizes, so if you have something that is crochet related in your stash of goodies and no longer need it and would like to donate to our door prizes, please feel free to do so. Donations are strictly voluntary. And remember they should be something that you would like to receive yourself.

Charity Blitz Reminder-Saturday, February 18, 2017

We will be meeting at the Riverwalk Church of Christ this Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Please feel free to bring a friend to help us out with all of our charity projects. We are working on wristers for the hospital (these are used to cover IV’s), purple and red baby hats, and cradles for Bridget’s Cradles. Yarn is provided for the red and purple hats. Patterns will be available for the hats and the wristers. All you have to bring is a love for crochet and an assortment of hook sizes from H-J. Hope to see you then.
