Charity Blitz Reminder: This Saturday, November 17, 2018
We will be meeting at the Riverwalk Church of Christ this Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 1:00-3:00 pm. Please feel free to bring a friend to help us out with our charity project for the American Heart Association. Yarn will be provided; all you have to bring is your love for crochet and an assortment of hook sizes from H-J. We hope to see you there.

New and Old Business
- Charity Crochet will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at RiverWalk Church of Christ. We will be working on red hats. The guild will provide patterns and the yarn. Just bring your hooks and your love for crochet. Please bring and invite anyone who loves to make simple hats.
- Monthly Challenge: Something made with a cake yarn or make a mandala.
- Dinner before the evening meeting will be at TJ’s Burgers at 1003 W Douglas.
Theme: Pioneer Days
Program: Apache Tears
Taught by Susan Emerson and Linda Gibson
Supplies needed:
Any Worsted Weight Yarn (Susan suggested Hobby Lobby’s I Love this Yarn Colorway: Print)
Or you can use any variegated yarn with one solid color for the bottom of slipper.
Susan does not suggest black yarn, because of the lighting in the room.
Hook: Size H/5.00 MM
Yarn Needle and Scissors
Pattern for slippers will be provided at the meeting.
Next months chapter challenge is to make something Christmasy with the apache tear stitch.

DOOR PRIZES
The guild is always accepting door prizes, so if you have something that is crochet related in your stash of goodies and no longer need it and would like to donate to our door prizes, please feel free to do so. Donations are strictly voluntary. And remember they should be something that you would like to receive yourself.
