March Meeting Reminder!

For the March meeting, Monday 3/21/11, Twist.
10 am to Noon and again from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Enter through the back door. Keep in mind other businesses are open, use the parking lot for the ball park if needed.

Pam Everheart will teach how to read the international crochet symbols to make a scarf.

  • Bring the kind of yarn/thread you want to use and an appropriate hook (G or H for worsted weight; F or G for sport/DK; D or E for sock weight).
  • Also, if you are participating in the Secret Sister event, remember to bring something. There will be a box/basket in the snack room to put the gift in.

Don’t forget Show -n- Share!

If you would like to, bring an item to be included in the door prizes: Stash yarn, dish cloths, odd hooks, or gently used patterns, books or magazines.

Hospitality crew: Thank you in advance for helping! As always, anyone is invited to bring treats.

January Meeting Reminder

{Program} This month we will make chemo hats for our charity program: Pediatric Cancer Patients.


The following patterns are suggested, but you may make any hat that will cover the head and ears (flaps or longer style folded hat) and is more tightly stitched to cover hair loss.


Youth sizes please.

Yarn should be soft to the skin as patients are covering delicate bare heads!
