2008 Common Threads Quilt Show

We had wonderful meetings on Monday. Now I am preparing to go to the Common Threads Quilt Show at Century II where the KS My Stitch Crochet Guild was asked to exhibit our crochet pieces. We have a double booth and it is on the end of the aisle. I hope to reach out to a lot of people and make them aware of our group meetings. All of us crocheters are not alone in our craft and I just want to let everyone know that! We have a great group and would love to have more people join us. There are some really exciting things coming up. More meeting pictures and some Quilt Show pictures. Please come and join us at the show.

So come and have some fun with us as we eat refreshments and play games and generally have some fun. Here’s what you need to know:
Date: Monday, June 16
Time: 10 a.m. to noon OR 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Twist Yarn Shop, 607 W. Douglas
Bring: Your favorite hook and a yarn to go with it for a game
Remember to bring projects you’ve finished to share. Also, we still need a few items for the booth at the quilt guild show. If you have something that can go on display, please label it with your name and other information and bring it to the meeting Monday. We also still need volunteers to man the booth at the show. It’s this Friday, Saturday Sunday, June 20, 21, and 22!
