I wanted to update you all regarding the Purple baby hats our guild is making. We have around 300 baby hats so far. That is AWESOME! The goal for the guild is 500. We can do it. We will continue to accept them through the end of September. Don’t forget Charity Crochet is every Monday, except guild night, at Kaye Gruver’s house. If you need directions email and we will get those to you. Thanks to all that have already donated and are continuing to make hats.

State Fair
Hello everyone. As I told you yesterday at Guild I would post the website address to register for the Kansas State Fair. Here is the link. https://www.kansasstatefair.com/registration/# The registration deadline is August 15, 2013.
If you are interested I, Donna Dyer, will take your items up to the fair. It will be your responsibility to pick them up. I really hope that many of you put at least one item in the fair. Good luck and talk to you soon.

We have a surprise project for you this month. To participate in the project bring a plastic grocery bag, that has no holes and, a size “K” crochet hook. We will continue with learning a new stitch also .We have a special challenge project planned for you. Come to guild and find out what it is.

Susie is Having a Sale
This is a message from Susie our dear guild member, she is having a sale this Saturday. She is cleaning out her cabinets, closets, and craft tubs. Hope you can make it. Here are the details:
“Big sale this Saturday, sewing books, material, yarn, ribbon, beads, buttons, clothes, kitchen items, jewelry, really cleaning house in a big way. Mostly inside some tables outside.
