Reminder about Dues and Construction

Happy New Year!

There are a few things that I would like to remind you all about.

1. Tomorrow is our first meeting of the year. Our morning meeting is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. and our evening meeting is from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
2. If you pay your yearly dues by the end of the evening meeting tomorrow; your name will be placed in a drawing. One lucky winner will be drawn from the names and they will win a basket filled with lots of crochet goodies at the February meeting.
3. CONSTRUCTION News: Waco street is still closed, but only to south bound traffic. You can still go north on Waco. If you are coming in from the east you can come down Douglas and turn north on Waco. If you are coming from the west you can go down Douglas or First Street and turn north on Waco. If the first entrance to the church is blocked, go to the second entrance and come around to the north side or Main Entrance where we always come in for our meetings.

 

Charity Workshop Reminder: This Saturday, January 18, 2020

WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR

WE HAVE A NEW CHALLENGE FOR OUR GUILD MEMBERS

Every charity workshop that you attend and participate in you will get a ticket to put your name on and place into the Chapter Challenge jar. I’m looking forward to explaining all this to all of you at this months meeting next week. I will also explain it to you if you are able to make it to the Charity Workshop on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

We will be meeting at the Riverwalk Church of Christ as usual.

Please feel free to bring a friend to help us out with our charity projects.

Yarn will be provided or you can bring your own; all you need to bring is your love for crochet and an assortment of hook sizes from H-J.

We hope to see you there.

• Dues are $25 per year or $45 for two years. If you have your dues paid by the end of the January 2020 meeting you will get your name in a drawing to win a basket full of goodies.
• Charity Crochet is Saturday January 18, 2020. Our charity crochet is on the third Saturday of the Month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at RiverWalk Church of Christ. We will be working on red hats, scarves, baby blankets and lapghans. The guild will provide some yarn. Just bring your hooks and your love for crochet. Please bring and invite anyone who loves to make simple items.
• Monthly Challenge: A CROCHETED ORNAMENT
• Dinner before the evening meeting (around 5:00 pm) will be at Playa Azul at 111 N Washington.

Bring any projects that you have completed or working on and share with everyone.

DOOR PRIZES

The guild is always accepting door prizes, so if you have something that is crochet related in your stash of goodies and no longer need it and would like to donate to our door prizes, please feel free to do so. Donations are strictly voluntary. And remember they should be something that you would like to receive yourself.
