Call for flowers for Shelly

Shelly has put out a call for knitted and crocheted flowers for the next window display at Twist. Please check out her blog here.

And if you like to make flowers, and have some scrap yarn laying around (and who doesn’t), think about a flower or a few for Twist’s windows.

You can make them when you join us Saturday at Towne East mall for the “Hook-In.” We’ll be there from noon to 3 p.m. Bring a hook and help us put together our charity afghans . . . and make a flower or two! Hope to see you there!

March meeting information

KS My Stitch

Here are the particulars for the March meeting of the KS My Stitch chapter of CGOA:

Date: Monday, March 17
Location: Twist yarn shop in Delano, 607 W. Douglas (enter through the back door)
Times: 10 a.m. to noon OR 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

For our program we will learn three new techniques in mini-workshops taught by our own members. Please bring the following supplies: Smooth worsted weight yarn, a hook the size you normally use for worsted weight, and a size K hook. All other supplies will be provided.
