KS My Stitch Charity Workshop Reminder-August 21, 2021 1:00 pm-3:00 pm
Good Morning All:
Just a friendly reminder that our charity workshop is today. We will be meeting from 1:00-3:00 at the Riverwalk Church of Christ. Please bring a hook and your charity projects. If you have a friend that would like to join in, please feel free to bring them. We always welcome the help!

Morning meeting: 10:00 am -12:00 pm
Evening meeting: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Dues are $25 per year or if you would like to pay for two years, it’s $45. Susie will be taking your money at the morning and evening meetings.
- Charity Crochet will Be Held Saturday August 21, 2021*.
*Take note that the charity workshop is the Saturday after the general guild meeting. - All Charity Items need to be clean and placed into a bag or bags with a piece of paper in each one with your name on it. That way it is easier for our charity person to keep track of how many items each person donates. (a small gift is given at both meetings to the person that donates the most items)
- We will be meeting for Dinner before the evening meeting at Rueben’s Mexican Grill (around 4:45 pm), which is located at 915 W Douglas.
- Fall Retreat will be at the church on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Fee: $20 per person (Fee is Due by the end of the August 16th evening meeting)
The project that we will be working on are the Textured Arm Warmers (pattern will be provided the day of the retreat.) Materials needed for the project: The pattern calls for Red Heart Super Saver 1 skein, (198 g, 364 yds, 333m) (Any worsted weight yarn will do)
Size H Hook but I would bring other larger sizes, as the pattern runs very small.
Lunch will be catered in. On the menu will be chicken and pork soft tacos (corn and flour), beans, rice, chips, salsa and white queso.

Bring any projects that you have completed or working on and share with everyone.
DOOR PRIZES
The guild is always accepting door prizes, so if you have something that is crochet related in your stash of goodies and no longer need it and would like to donate to our door prizes, please feel free to do so. Donations are strictly voluntary. And remember they should be something that you would like to receive yourself.
