Sorry this is so late. I just wanted to tell everyone about the last meeting and the charity workshop. We had attendance of 10 people in the morning and 20 people in the evening. We have a great group ranging in ages from 26 all the way up to their 80’s. And we all share the love of CROCHET! We started the meeting off with a brief meeting, then show and share, snacks and then Pam Everhart shared her knowledge of fibers. Thank you Pam it was very interesting and everyone enjoyed it. These are the pictures of show and share. Our members are some of the most talented people that I know and we do not discriminate against quilters or knitters. (Ha! Ha!) Keep up the good work. You will see bags that were made from the retreat workshop on how to place beading on a bag without stringing the beads first and some hearts from the retreat workshop. You will see Marge’s beautiful baby afghans and the scarf that she donated to the Charity. Susie’s great crochet felted boots, socks that she embellished with crochet and her first attempt at thread crochet made into a flower. Good work Susie! Pat’s crocheted top and cell phone case. Rosina’s beaded bag and hearts. Lucy’s peach beaded bag. Wendy’s granny square that she is diligently finishing before starting another project, way to go Wendy. Krista’s knitted market bag. Linda’s knitted scarf. Sharon’s quilted bag that someone gave to her. Sue’s beginning of a sweater. Paula’s flower granny square. Robbie’s towel embellished with crochet. Jeannie’s afghan (she is the coordinator of blankets for Linus). Linda’s pink doilie and green and white afghan. Cori’s green purse. Lesa’s beaded bag. Sorry Sheri I didn’t get a good enough picture of your black baby booties, I caught you when you were moving and the picture was blurry. A sneakpeak of my notebook cover that I talked my sister into making for me. I brought the sweater and we both designed it. The spine is made with the buttoned front of a sweater and the inside has a pocket made with some of the ribbing and sweater fabric. Thank you Jackie for making my tired sweater notebook cover for me!
